About Michael Mills

Michael Mills is a 33-year veteran of a South Florida Police Department and retired as Assistant Chief of Police. Mills was responsible for several key projects and initiatives for the Police Department and was very active as a volunteer and civic leader in the community he served. Upon retirement, Mills became immediately licensed as a Private Investigator and was fortunate enough to become engaged with some of South Florida’s top investigative and security firms. From the experience and education gained, Mills Consulting LLC became a licensed agency in Florida, able to serve a wider clientele. Michael is the President of Mills Consulting.



Mr. Mills is Area Chair and an ombudsman for Florida Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve, a U.S. Dept. of Defense agency with a mission to promote and enhance relations between civilian employers and their Guard & Reserve employees. He is also an active Life Member of Chiefs of Police Associations at the county, state and international level. In Rotary, Michael is a Paul Harris Fellow, Past Club President and Benefactor.
